چکیده

introduction. the ability for practical skills is an important target for medical education. these skills are necessary for diagnosis of diseases and therapeutic procedures. this study is designed for evaluation of clinical skills. methods. 92 medical student were selected randomly and data was collected by questionnaires. results. 71.7% of stagers and 21.4% of internship students didn’t have necessary skills in injections. 96.8% & 35.7% of medical students (5th grade) and 35.7% & 57.7% of internship students didn’t have necessary skills in intubations & c.p.r, respectively. 85.5% of medical students had enough ability in b.p measurement. also 55.7% & 74.2% of medical student (5th grade) and 21.4% & 85.7% of internship students didn’t have necessary skills in surgical sutures and wound dressing and limb casting respectively. 81.6% of stagers and 63.6% of internship medical students believed that they needed education for these skills. 93.1% of medical students believed that workshop education was the best method for practical skills education. conclusion. this study showed that practical skills education doesn’t have lesson plan, therefore clinical skills workshop is necessary before entrance to hospital for all the medical students.
